Pinguicula Gigantea like the name suggests is GIANT! It’s large leaves produce dew all year on both sides of the leaves. Gigantea is one of the few pings with a slight detectable scent that’s described as soft and sweet like a grape candy. 

This listing is for a bare root plant. You will receive approximately 1 inch+ clone. This is a large cultivar.

  • Mature size: up to 12 inches on average but larger is possible! 
  • Flower: soft purple with a fuzzy coating over the petals with a pop of yellow in the center. 
  • Light: Full sun or similar grow light, grows larger in more filtered light. 
  • Humidity: 50-75% with adequate airflow
  • Temperature: 55-80°F
  • Soil: pumice stone, lava rock, peat, sand, vermiculite and perlite mix
  • Feeding: Feed a tiny speck of rehydrated bloodworms every 2-3 weeks if it's not getting gnats.
  • Water: Butt chugging (sits in tray of distilled water). Reduce watering during winter.
  • Dormancy: None, but leaves shrink in winter.
